Pre-Landscaping Shots

I have been very slack with the Blog since we moved in, but I thought I would add some pre-landscaping shots. The outside is pretty much a disaster zone with a bit of re-waterproofing going on in the front yard, and weeds going on everywhere else.  Hopefully the landscaping is going to start in the next couple of weeks, so I will post some shots up as this progresses.

Day 174

I'm a bit slow with the posts, but we are now pretty much done.  Drive and Pathways to be done, a bit of plumbing, a massive clean up (due to cutting out the stone bench tops after they were installed... long story) and some carpet and we can move in.

Painting now finished at the front

Floors have been sanded and polished.  This is the study.

Stainless wire is also complete

Outdoor tiling is also finished... Once the pool fence is up the pool surface can be done .  Have a fair bit of cleaning / sealing to do on those tile though before that happens.

Showers screens and mirrors should be going on this week.

Dining room pendant

Main touchscreen... still work in progress, but my guess it will always be work in progress.

Video intercom system.  One of these upstairs and downstairs.

One of my glass light switches.  Most switches upstairs are this type.

Powder room pretty much finished.  Full of dust though from cutting  the basin holes in the stone.  Unbelievable how much dust this generated.

Ensuite tiling.  Again very dusty.

Other type of glass switch used upstairs.  This is the main bedroom.

Electric Door lock from the inside.

And outside.  You enter a code or swipe a card to unlock the front door.  Door can also be opened  from the intercom.

Kitchen lights are all done now, except for an LED strip going  under the overhead cupboards.  Will wait till the glass splashbacks are in before I put this up.

Day 157

A lot of things have been happening at the house, including my electrical work, hence the lack of posts, but I'm nearly done so thought I would get some photos up of the current progress.  Not long now!

Deck paint is finished.  Wire will be going in next week.  Photo was taken at night.... deck usually doesn't look so orange.
